Since 1985 The Supplies House ® has become a leading supplier of janitorial products and consumables to cleaning companies. We are very focused on our customers, and our directors take a personal interest in all key aspects of customer delivery.
Our dedicated teams are here to help our customers be successful, including the customer account staff helping , the back office people making sure thing run smoothly, to the front line delivery guys getting customers products to their destinations in all weathers and times of day.

Management and account staff
We are based around a core team of staff who all make great efforts to help customers, and work with each other. The people you are most likely to come in contact with are:
After working for 3M, Henkal and Dymachem at director level, Brian established The Supplies House with the aim of professionalising the cleaning supplies industry. He is responsible for planning, strategy and supplier negotiations. Brian is a member of the CSSA and the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners, and Patron to the Oppo Foundation.
With nine years experience at senior management level in the telecoms industry, Carl joined us in 2003, since then Carl has gained extensive knowledge of the cleaning industry and is responsible for overseeing operations, accounts, warehousing, purchasing, logistics, delivery and IT.
Lisa Bowhay CMgr MCMI
Northern Regional Manager
With over 20 years experience Lisa is a long standing senior member of staff and a qualified Chartered Manager. She has several key roles in the company including; Managing our office and distribution centre in the north and midlands, Quality Manager for our ISO quality and environmental certifications, overseeing the Customer Services and Administration teams, and being the PA to our MD, Brian Chapman. For the rest of the time, Lisa likes to paint her nails!
Jade has been with us since 2008. His vast cleaning knowledge is a great benefit to us and our customers. Jade has extensive experience implementing large scale start ups within the public and private sector, and was instrumental in our supply to the London 2012 Games and the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Jade is very keen on football, both watching Man Utd and playing (not for Man U!). He and his wife love the cultural diversity they find in the UK.
Barry has over 25 years’ experience within the contract cleaning and janitorial market place. He brings extensive knowledge of the day to day challenges of the industry, combined with extensive key account management experience
Client Liaison/Key Account Manager
Janet spent the bulk of her career in facilities and accommodation management, before joining The Supplies House Janet worked for ten years as College General Manager at Roehampton Institute. She looks after customer relations.
Lisa Coxon (Customer Services Manager) and Anneka Andrews make up the customer services team. With extensive customer service experience, they are responsible for handling queries, processing orders, and are the first point of contact for clients. Their extensive knowledge of our customers’ needs and diligence with the ordering process means no problem is too big, and no order is too small.
Purchasing, accounts and administration
Leigh Beck is our purchasing administrator. Our Accounts & Admin team is managed by Mary Oseni and Richard Merritt.
Logistics, warehouse and delivery staff
The warehouse and delivery staff can be the unsung heroes of the operation. They work hard behind the scenes to make sure customers deliveries happen on time every time.
We believe in “giving something back” to the community and are proud to be involved in many community projects. Because we are a close knit team, we tend to get involved in projects that our staff or clients are personally associated with.
